Who is hosting Oscars 2019? The full list of presenters after Kevin Hart pulled out over 'homophobic controversy'
Centre stage: The Oscars are without a host for the first time in 30 years ( )
The Oscars are gearing up for another night of Hollywood’s finest competing for the most coveted awards in film.
The 91st Academy Awards, which will take place on Sunday, is set to go ahead without a host after Kevin Hart stepped down after homophobic tweets from 2009 and 2011 resurfaced.
The comedian, who had described the presenting gig as the “opportunity of a lifetime,” apologised for the posts before stepping down shortly after he was announced in December.
There was much speculation that he may reconsider after Ellen DeGeneres made an active plea for the star to sign up again.

But Hart last month confirmed he will not be taking part in the ceremony and that he is “over” talking about it.
The ceremony will mark the second time the prestigious showcase will go ahead without a host.

In 1989, the Academy went without an official host and opened the show with a duet between Rob Lowe and Snow White.
The parody of music Beach Blanket Babylon, which sees a Disney princess arrive to Hollywood, left much to be desired.
It even led to 17 Hollywood stars, including Paul Newman, Gregory Peck, Julie Andrews and Billy Wilder signing an open letter which declared the showcase “an embarrassment to both the Academy and the entire motion picture industry”, according to the New York Times.
In a bid to secure a successful run without a host, the Academy has enlisted over 50 celebrity presenters, including Daniel Craig, Tina Fey and Chris Evans to name just a few.
Presenters for Best Picture include Chef José Andrés, Dana Carvey, Queen Latifah, John Lewis, Diego Luna, Tom Morello, Mike Myers, Trevor Noah, Amandla Stenberg, Barbra Streisand and Serena Williams.
The Best Actor and Best Actress prizes will both be presented by previous winners with Allison Janney and Gary Oldman taking on Best Actor and Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell awarding Best Actress.
