Msanii wa muziki nchini Nigeria, Yemi Alade amejikuta na hali ya taharuki akiwa location baada ya askari polisi mjini Lagos kumtawanya yeye na madensa wake kwa kupiga risasi za moto angani.
Yemi Alade kupitia ukurasa wake wa Twitter amesema kuwa wakati akiwa location katika mitaa ya Ikeja ku-shoot video ya wimbo wake mpya alishangaa kuona askari kanzu (askari upelelezi) wakikoki bunduki na kufyatua risasi angani bila hata sababu maalumu.
Mkali huyo wa Hit ya Johnny, amesema kuwa askari waliokuwa umbali wa mita 10 walimsogelea na kumwambia kuwa wamesikia eneo hilo kuna vurugu na kuwaamuru watawanyike upesi bila shurti.
“Sigh…So Here i am jejely giving them some mad dance moves on set of a Video shoot somewhere in Ikeja and a uniformed officer pulls his trigger for no reason 10 steps from where i stood and puts everybody in panic mode! This man said he heard people were fighting!! Lets not even talk about the egotistic air head that was granted VIP protection from the police (he probably told the policeman to announce his presence with a gun shot). To think that My entire team.stood right next to him!what if the bullet hit someone! You mean in a peaceful gathering where “lazy nigerian youths” are trying to make a living ,the only way to announce your uninvited self is to shoot for no reason!”
Hata hivyo, Yemi Alade amelishukia jeshi hilo la polisi kwa kudai kuwa wanatumia ovyo kodi za wananchi kwa kutumia risasi maeneo ambayo hayastahili.
“Do you know how expensive bullets are? You make us pay tax then use tax payers money to buy bullets and arms so you can shoot tax payers. We need to curb This disregard for human life in Nigeria! Do human rights even exist here!?Is justice never going to be an action word!”
